Students in the East Grand Middle School Gifted and Talented program attended a field trip to Northrup Grumman's Space Discovery Center in Colorado Springs last week, Wednesday, December 8, 2015.
Student's learned through interactive classroom experience and in a 3D presentation about planets in our solar system. Students were also informed about the planets in our solar systems proportion compared to one another, their proximity to the sun and one another, and about their relation to each other. Student's were able gain experience through interactive displays in the museum and talk with veterans of NASA who were their guides.
The field trip was paid for through a 'Scholartrip' from Northrup Grumman.
